Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (04/05/2010) It sounds like there are some good parts. This might have the offset 30 spline Dana rear.
“GREAT PROJECT CAR. Price negotiable. I have some new parts ready to go on including a complete, new “Painless Wiring Kit”, keyed Jeep tilt steering, 4 YJ springs and 2 Trailmaster coil over shocks. Motor not stock, in good shape, runs. Has tow bar. Has Dana 44 one piece axles. This a project vehicle.”

Given a spare tire is sitting in the driver’s seat, I’m gonna guess this doesn’t run? But, it doesn’t look too bad.

“53 Willys CJ3B. Complete rebuild from frame to body. New gauges, seats, top, tires, exhaust, wiring, blinkers, windshield wipers, heater. Original 4 cylynder F-Head motor, rebuilt approx. 6 yrs. ago. Jeep is in great condition and runs good. miles on new gauge, 292.”

“Solid frame, floors replaced with diamond plate, needs body work. Bought new carb, not yet installed. Has newer radiator and brakes done by last owner. This jeep is a mahindra, an Indian built cj5. The frame has been powder coated and most everything is there, but the seller claims this is a “mystery jeep”? I’m gonna bet the seller also doesn’t have a title for this. This just sounds a bit sketchy on the face of it. I’m gonna guess this is a late 1950s/ early 1960s CJ-5 or CJ-3B?

“This is a spring over lifted 1962 willys cj3b it has a complete and original f -134 hurricane engine that is not locked up. 3 speed transmission and complete transfercase. Body is in fair condition and has most of its original steel. Has original cushioned seats with it. Needs fenders. I have other misc willys stuff also for sale. pto’s trannys transfercases gauges etc.

here is a run down of parts i have, jeep is in my girlfriends name, clear title numbers match odly enough the title is for a 2b not sure why, something must have got messed up over the years…
1954 willys cj3b body most rust cut out, needs body work was going to run armor on sides to cover up bad spots
hood, fenders, windshield, grill. all glass in tact.
wildwood brake and clutch master cylinders
new firewall and floor panels, all are undercoated
i have a new wiring harness for jeep inside tub
needs steering and column.
roller gas pedal
new willys mirrors, and brackets for body
many other small parts
brake lines
ignition switch
original gauges
tail gate chains
hydro line lock parking brake
wiper motors and heater
stock seats and newer fuel tank for under seat
