Ants in the distributor … not a good thing.
“I have an late 40’s to mid 50′ jeep willys, I just bought the jeep thinking that I would know what I was doing with it. The jeep ran great a year ago per the prior owner. So I put a hot battery in the jeep and it turns over great, but no fire. So i check under the dist. cap to see it full of ants causing corrosion to the points. Thats when I get lost. I work with later model jeeps and this one is not for me. It does have RUST all over. floor boards, sides, just all over.It also has the windshield frame off of it, and the tow hitch to pull it behind your rig. If you know what your doing mechanic and autobody wise. You can have a great lil woods jeep or fix it up nice. I researched the jeep to find out that ww2 nuts are asking huge prices for alot less jeep than this. So I dont think I am unfair on the price. Just want my money back asap to continue working on a late model CJ7, In which I know how to deal with. Come check it out. I bought this jeep as soon as it was posted.
