Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I called and spoke to Mark about this jeep. He noted the driver’s side floorboards were especially bad. He feels strongly that this CJ will start if it get’s some fresh gas and oil. Apparently, this was used at the local airport for years.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
“!948 CJ2A w/ Buick 231 V-6, full cage, rock sliders, some new parts, registered as antique, clear title, runs and drives good. Good hunting/trail/rockcrawler jeep. Lots of power with 5.38 axle gears. Rear axle is Lincoln Locked. Has pto drive at tranny. body is in fair condition. I beleive this jeep was an AG Jeep. Has pto, dash trottle(not hooked up), and coil overloads mounted on shocks. Jeep is running 33×12.5 tires. CJ3B is not running. Mostly for parts. Good Frame and drive train. Was going to rob power steering, and tilt column for white jeep. Has GM 2.8 v6(clean), 4 speed with novak adapter to willys transfer case. Body is not terrible, but needs alot. These are 2 of my 6 jeeps! Must rotate stock…. Come take a look, they are old Willys’s. Have a title to 54, but not in my name…. Serious inquires ONLY. Price is bottom dollar”

(04/16/2010) This might be a great find for someone. This appears driveable now or a great candidate for restoration. This also has a PTO winch.

This runs and includes an Overdrive. It still needs some work.
“’54 Jeep. small block chevy it RUNS!!!, 3sp w/overdrive, 538 gears, 32 inch tires. minimul rust (I have fixed most of it and have floors and working on the rest. Intsalling new gas tank and fuel lines and seats and should be done with those soon. Its drivable now, but needs a few thing finished and I am working on them. I got this from the original owner. I listed it a few months ago whwn it was not running ans was rusty….now it is MUCH better!!”

Despite the paint job, this looks like a great price on a running CJ-3B.
“I have a 1954 willys cj3b jeep up for sale. The jeep is all original except the tires, bucket seats, roll bar and a few other little things. She starts runs and drives everytime, nevery have had any problems. It has the original 4 cylinder motor along with 3 speed tranny with the high and low.
