This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “UP FOR BIDS IS A NICE AND CLEAN 1954 WILLYS WITH A FORD 289 V8 AND AUTOMATIC TRANNY.IT HAS FULL ROLLBARS AND SEAT BELTS FRONT AND REAR.SITS ON TSL SUPER SWAMPERS AND ALUMINUM WHEELS.LIFTED 2 INCHES .IT HAS DANA 18 T CASE AND DANA DIFFERENTIAL WITH DETROIT LOCKERS.THE TIRES HAS APPROX 100 MILES.IT HAS B AND M SHIFTER.IT IS PAINTED TURQOISE AND PASTEL GRAY EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE GAS TANK BEING PINK.”
This appears to be a great deal on a late model CJ-3B.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5250.
On my way to look at the jeep in Wallowa, I spotted this jeep just outside of La Grande, Or. Apparently, it is all stock except for the tires, top and brakes. However, I noticed that the front bumper has been chopped to the width of the frame, so I suspect there might be a few other minor changes as well.
I’ve included several pics below (it was behind a fence, so my image options were limited).

Here’s a great price on a running CJ-3B. It shouldn’t last long.
“The jeep has a power take off winch, Packard steering, Chevy 265 V-8 Engine that runs good. All tires have tubes in them and have the original owners manual. The jeep has been in the family since 1962 but can not find the title. Let me know if you have questions”

“1953 CJ3B 231 Buick V-6, 350 turbo trans, 18 t-case with Warn overdrive. 25 front 44 rear both with Powr-Lok 4.88 gears. New paint, very straight, full cage. All new wire harness, new 31″ tires, new galvanized gas tank, tub fully spray lined. 11″ power brakes, Saginaw power steering column. $3800 OBO.”
With just over 7,000 miles, this jeep appears to be in great shape. Lots of pics to check out at eBay.

It has been trailered from Texas to New Mexico during the last 45 years and when not in use it has been stored in a barn. Equipped with fully operational gearboxes and winch. No rust . Original paint, glass, and interior. Excellent mechanical condition. It is not stickered but has Antique tags. What you see is what you get-no hidden surprises with this vehicle.”

” 1965 Willy’s Kaiser High hood Jeep. Has a 1967 327 motor. Runs Great and only needs physical/body work. Has a brand new rear end also.”

UPDATE: CJ-3B back on eBay in new auction
This is strange .. it appears this is the same CJ-3B that was for sale on eBay in Ohio a few months ago.
“1961 Willys CJ3B Fire Truck 4×4. Original condition. No rust. Only 4729 original miles. 4 cylinder gas engine. 3 speed manual transmission. Brass self priming water pump, approx. 60 GPM @ up to 200 psi, works fine, can also pump and roll. 160 gallon water tank, redone in 2002, no leaks. 2 ground sweep nozzles, 2 hose reels with 5/8″ hose and nozzles. 4 stainless steel indian tanks, 2 axes side mounted. 2 full purple K powder extinguishers. 300′ 1.5″ forestry hose. PTO driven Ramsey winch. Set up to look like the Tonka fire jeep. Spare axles, carb, grille screen, and original service records included.”
