Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1955 cj3b high hood, bought from a private collection. It’s all there engine spins over, the battery and tires indicate someone did a partial resto in 2008. Seems like they gave up on it around floor pan replacement. It has a lot to offer for the price. “1952 jeep willys cj3A, bought as a project car and did body work on it i have tons of photos of the process if interested. Vehicle doesnt run it is just a rolling shell needs alot of work. Outside was painted army green and inside tub was paint matched in raptor liner, was going to make the truck a off roading truck but dont have money to finish the project. (Only bill of sale)”

There sure is a lot to like here, especially that hardtop, which looks to be a Koenig Super Cab model 550 with the optional vertical doors in the rear (see other Koenig brochures here).

“This is a unicorn. This little green gem has around 36k miles on it. Nothing is rusted out. It is mostly all original from what I can see.

The rare hard top is in amazing shape with keys to lock doors.
