“Was bought as the body, but my grandfather spent a couple of years working on it. He is no longer able to get in and out of it. It has a 4.3 GMV6 engine, new leaf springs, new differential, new tires, power steering, tilt steering wheel, hubs, bucket seats, new tie rods, new shocks, and an aftermarket 14 gallon gas tank. Only needs a gas gauge sending unit.”
The seller doesn’t mention it, but this appears to have a replacement body.

“This is a 1953 Willys CJ3B jeep. Total rust free jeep with some goodies on it. Restored 20 years ago and rebuilt motor, Hurricane inline 4, Runs like a sewing machine. Custom front bumper to hold the rare winch Warn 8274, has Warn locking hubs, Warn overdrive. Custom rollbar with jerry can. 3 speed trans. Good clutch. 4×4 works great. I currently drive this jeep daily to the store etc. Great little jeep for around town and crawling in the mountains. It gets attention everywhere. Comes with a bikini top and a full black tiger soft top and soft doors. I also have some original parts that came off it as well.”

“1953 Willys CJ3b flatfender project. I have owned this project for about 10 years. It was purchased with no title. It was bought by a friend for parts and then i got it from him. Body is pretty solid for a 1953. It had a v8 it looks like. I found the original mounts for the stock F134. They will need to be welded in. I have a block installed for fitment. The Willys has the original Trans and transfer case installed. Missing the 2 driveshafts. I was told it Has an upgraded steering box and bigger brakes. I have fenders they are not mounted. Grill is not mounted. The rims and tires are loaners from a friend that i will have to return. I have some rollers to load. This is a project vehicle. Sold as is with no paperwork. It had tags on it so it was registered at some point in its life. Has california id tag on firewall. Great project for offroading or Rockcrawling. I am open to offers.”

All lights and turn signals work. All fluids changed New valve cover gasket and valves adjusted New battery Cap, rotor, plugs, wires, coil, points and condenser all replaced with new Starter rebuilt New one wire Delco alternator New fuel pump New fuel tank Carburetor rebuilt Brakes gone through. New wheel cylinders, shoes, rubber lines and master cylinder. Seats were recovered Seat belts added. New lock out hubs Correct 16” rims Parking brake works Runs drives and stops good Clean title in my name”
I suspect the cargo area bed has been patched or rebuilt. This has a Beck or Kelly hardtop.
