Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Looks like a clean rebuild.
“I am happy to present to you my 1942 Willy’s MB. It has been fully restored to it’s original condition. This fresh restoration includes a complete drive train rebuild by an expert Jeep restorer. The sheet metal is all new, and was purchased from Bensinger Jeep. All canvas is from Beachwood Canvas Works. There are many things I can tell you about this Jeep. (It sounds like this has been disassembled. Appears to have combat wheels.
“Unsure of the year but I believe it’s a 1945 Willy’s MB. It is currently decommissioned. The plan was to start the frame off restoration but no time to even start. Tub is rusty. Hood is decent. Any takers? The picture was taken BEFORE we decommissioned the Willys.”
