It’s not clean, but appears solid.
“1946 Willys. #47677. Mechanically original. Very straight & solid body. Adjustable seats in good condition. Original L head motor. Ran when parked quite a while ago. Always stored in doors. Excellent for restoration or building a classic rock crawler. ”

Here’s an early CJ-2A.
“1945 CJ2A – Only 1800 CJ2A’s were made in 1945. Has tool indent on driver side. Has tube front cross member. Serial # 11495. Runs and drives. All lights work. Transmission has been rebuilt. Brakes have been converted to 11″. Original 134 Flathead – smokes. Floor has been replaced with new metal in rear. Includes hand wench with crank. This is a hard to find jeep that actually runs and looks good. Email with questions.”

It runs, but has to be compression started. It’s got the tool divets.

UPDATE:**SOLD* Was $1500.
This is a project.
“Jeep – 1947 CJ2A. F-Head motor (not original). Engine just freshened new gaskets/ rings / cylinders honed / head rebuilt. Runs great, no smoke no problems. 3 speed standard transmission. 4wd low & high works. Transmission grinds a little but you would to if you were sixty three years old. Clutch seems to work fine. Frame is solid. A little surface rust but in great shape for it’s age. Interior could use some love. The drivers seat cover is pretty much non-existant, I’m not sure what gauges on the dashboard work, there not original though. Someone put a keg in the back for a gas tank. Body seems good for what it is … Price is $1500 obo. Don’t need to sell it… I bought it with intentions of fixing it up, rebuilt the engine and somewhat lost ambition. If I dont get what I want, within reason, I’ll just keep it. ”

UPDATE: more, bigger pics. The interior looks good and it has new gauges.
The windshield on this is pretty vertical. It appears in solid shape.

“
1946 willys jeep 12volt electrical system needs some TLC has a none-op on it come test drive.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2650
(01/08/2010) Check out the front part of the passenger side frame rail. It looks like a giant piece of plate has been welded onto to it. I suspect that’s not there to make it go faster!
“This old Willys runs and drives like it did 62 years ago! This would be perfect for a restoration project as it is only slighty modified with the lift and very little aftermarket items, or as a TURN-KEY off road toy. I would keep it if I could but bills and other projects take priority unfortunetly. Please call or email with any questions or offers”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1350
(02/06/10) Here’s an interesting combo.
