Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 CJ2A for sale in great condition. Original L-134 4 cyl engine, T-90 trans and transfer case, all new fluids, new radiator, new oil filter, new battery, 12 volt electrical system with all lights working, new seatbelts, new 15×8″ Pro Comp rims on new 235/75R15 Hankook Dynapro ATM tires, new shocks and 2″ Superlift leafsprings. I also have an older BestTop frame w/doors and some new steering and front suspension parts in the box. Runs and drives excellent, great condition and is a daily driver. “1947 Willy’s Jeep project car. Has Chevy small block conversion with what I’m guessing is a 58-64 Chevy small block engine. Engine cranks but needs some work to get it running. “selling my fully restored 1946 Willys jeep. 450 miles on it since total restoration. New everything.
Has factory GO DEVIL 4 cylinder engine. All stock except wheels and warn hubs.
1st year of the Civilian Jeep. Not military. 60 horse power , 60 MPH top speed.

This may be a 1946, based on the multiple data plates and the front Frame horns. It’s listed as a 1949.

“***CALLS ONLY, I DON’T RETURN TEXTS***FOR SALE*** 1946 Jeep CJ2A. All original. Runs great All new brake system front to rear. All repacked wheel bearings. Tires near new. Good seats. Wiper motor works. All lights work. Top in good shape. Paint job is an amateur job (a good 10 footer). I bought this with plans to do a complete restore…but plans have changed. Could be driven the way it is. Needs a speedometer. Has a factory heater but I know nothing about its condition. All metal tub. No rust issues. Currently titled and licensed in SD. ”
