Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a bunch of cj2a stuff I’m getting rid of. I still have a frame and tub that are titled along with a transfer case, manual transmission for doing a Chevy swap and a bunch of other miscellaneous parts as well. Title is non oped so no back fees. I have a complete one in my garage if you want to check one out these jeeps are very simple and I’ve built a few of them. I’m working on other projects now and no interest in getting to these. ”

(08/11/2016) “1946 Willys CJ2A #368332 (body Tag). OUV- Original Utility Vehicle! TN barn fresh! Flat head 4cyl Go Devil (GPW 6050-2C). Frame Straight. Body has rust but straight, perforations on bulkhead below front seats but overall sound, not bad for a 70yr. old Willys. No seats, windshield, or brakes to speak of. Ignition needs fixed/upgraded. We have just inherited it and have not had it running. No title, bill of sale only. Great candidate for restoration.’

Has an inline 6 installed.
“Hello. I’m selling my Old school 1946 Willy’s Flat fender military jeep. Jeep can go anywhere, runs amazing. Has an inline 6 flathead motor with a 3 speed. Motor, transmission, and transfer case all rebuilt few years ago. Warn locking hubs. Jeep was built in Tucson. 10K in receipts. Has 2 sets of wheels and tires, currently with 33×12.50x15s. Clean title, registered and insured. I drive it to work couple times a week. And use it up north for camping and hunting. never abused. only selling because I’m building a toyota pickup. Asking $5500obo. Call or text for any questions.”

Drain holes have been filled. Not a completely stock engine since it has a newer alternator and looks to be 12 volte.

“We have a nice survivor CJ-2A Willy’s Jeep. The 4 cylinder has been replaced with a Buick V6 at some point it its life. The transmission is a stock T-90 3 speed. There is a Koenig PTO winch, tow bar and also a Koenig hard top with full doors. The body is in rather good shape for being as old as it is. Seats are not factory, Tires are good, great tread. This little Willy’s can be ready for hunting season if you hurry.”
