This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 CJ2A jeep titled. complete Koenig steel top. Koenig pto drive winch. Engine turns freely. Surface rust only. Great jeep to rebuild or fire up and drive.”

It’s a project, but unclear what all needs to be done.
“Selling a 1940’s military willys. I do have some documents for the vehicle. Needs body work but most important the original 4 cylinder engine is not in it! For whatever reason the previous owner put a V-6 in it. Other wise great project car, solid, and a wonderful piece of history. Please call if you are interested between respectable hours of the day.”

(07/23/2016)The body looks in reasonably good shape.
“I have a 1947 CJ2A chassis with an aftermarket MB body. Jeep has been sitting outside for 15+ years. Body and frame are in exceptional shape despite this. Hood, windshield frame and grill have been kept inside and are perfect. Have some parts…see pics. Motor is locked up but not frozen, trans is as well. broke a spark plug also, again, see pics. Have paper work. Price is firm.”

“Selling a 1946 willy’s jeep cj2a. All original. Runs drives and stops buts needs a lot of work. Just been using it around the property because it was cheaper than a mule or ranger.”

“1949 jeep, runs pretty good, BUT BODY IS ABSOLUTELY TRASH THROUGHOUT. New $250.00 dollar starter still in box included if jeep sells for $1100 dollars.”

‘Have a willy’s that has gm v8 with Crane roller rockers. Three speed to dana 18 dana 25 up front Dana 41 rear .
Up graded steering. Hard top and doors.
Out of DMV has to be seen by CHP to verify vin. No back fees last registration was in 1994

“Offering for sale (2) 1946 Willy’s Jeeps CJ-2A. We bought these as a project and know now that we won’t have time to complete it. There is a titled jeep-includes a snowplow. We were told that the engine was rebuilt and it starts right up. the tires are good and we put a new battery in it. The body, with the exception of the hood and tailgate, is completely shot. We have a barn-find body and additional parts to complete the project – just add your expertise and labor!

“1949 willys jeep original 4cylinder engine, 3 speed transmission, needs tires , all holding air, metal cab in good condition, have a 1949 title for it. This belong to my son , who is gone away to college and does not want it anymore, has small dents on body, but at least it runs good, good project, but I am not into fixing worn out stuff, and I will not start throwing good money in this old thing, if I don/t sell it, will sell for scrap steel in the next week, bottom line.”
