Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Listing for my nephew. Please call him with questions.
Dana 44 axles front (enclosed knuckle) & rear. Minimal rust for it’s age. Believed to be the Iron Duke 4 cylinder engine – turns over by hand; have not attempted to fire. 3 speed transmission with twin stick transfer case. Pretty much as you see it. Needs brake / clutch pedal assembly. No top, have 2 soft doors. Great project piece with tons of potential.”

“For sale 1946 CJ 2a flat fender rock crawler. This thing is super cool and wheels it butt off. Almost everthing on this jeep is cutom. It has a Buick v6 with howell fuel injection, T18 tranny with a rare Scout Dana 300 twin stick transfer case. D30 front, D44 high pinion rear both locked with 410 gears and disc brakes. Nice bolster style seats with 5 point harness, full roll cage custom bumpers, front end rebuilt u joints bearings and seals all timken no junk. 36 Iroks in great shape on deadlocks. The list goes on , only selling because I have to many toys including another rock crawler. Possible trades for super clean jeep or something cool but mostly looking for cash. Thanks”

It’s a project, but there appears to be a good base here.
“This is a nearly complete project ready for paint color of your choosing and final assembly, original cloth wiring harness and new $900 seats. New gauges and I even have an original Keonig steel hard top and doors. Every thing was rebuilt or new. New body tub and fenders.
Fresh brakes, engine, transmission, transfer case, and axles all rebuilt with the best parts. ”
