Might be some value here.
“For sale is a 1948 Willys CJ-2A jeep. It is not running and missing some parts. This would be a perfect parts donor for someone who is restoring a CJ-2A. The engine, transmission, and both axles are there but I have no idea of their condition. It does have four 16-inch wheels with decent military tires one of which is currently flat. $600 as-is and I’ll help you load it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,000.
(04/25/2015) Can you blame the seller for pricing it at a value that someone appraised it at? Hard to figure out how an appraiser could have arrived at such a price.
“Full frame off restoration rebuilt motor new transmission rebuilt transfercase very clean appraised at 22,500 but will move a little with cash call or text for more info has a title”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Looks nice.
“Here is my CJ2A for your consideration. I custom built the body, painted it myself (it’s not perfect, i am a novice painter but i get alot of compliments on it, it was supposed to be grey but turned out the off white as you see) and the inside is coated with diy bedliner and the bottom side with POR15, wheelwells were done in diy bedliner also to prevent star bursts in the paint on the top side. The cowl section is the only part that’s ’47, from the dash back including the floor braces (1×2” tubing) it’s all brand new tin. Front clip, windshield frame and tail gate are MD Juan parts.
This has a fiberglass body. It’s got the wide rim around the back, but isn’t a Parkette or Bobcat. Must have been an eastern make of some kind?

“1946 Jeep Willis – Almost completely restored. The jeep runs and drives like a New one. Heck it should. All it needs now is a few cosmetic improvements. Really hate to sell it but due to unforeseen circumstances I have to. Asking 6500 Obo. Call”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $4750
(08/06/2014) Runs and drives. Seems to be missing glass in the windshield.
“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A, great running jeep, go devil flat head four, 3 speed, just in time for deer season, tow bar on front bumper hitch up to go long distances, new rear leaf springs and shocks, new steering wheel, new master cylinder, new water pump, newer battery, new gas tank, roll bar, original style seats. Converted to 12V with single wire alternator. If you know these vehicles they are awesome off road and great to run around town. 4 Gun racks, rear shelf brackets, jerry can holder. Mud tires in great shape lots of tread left. Odometer reads 14,500 I would think it has rolled over so once so it should be 114,500 but I can’t verify that.”
The front frame rails and bumper appear replaced.
“Call or text with questions. I don’t need help selling this. ”
