Brett and the Utah eWillys Bureau should be proud of this find. Check out the sort-of-custom body on this jeep. I’d like to check this out more closely to see exactly what’s left of the old body (if anything).
“1951 Willys Jeep. 283 V8 Chevy small block, 4 speed transmission with 33×12.50 tires. Custom built body, new corbeau seats with harnesses. Runs strong, new wiring, new gas tank. I never use it so it just sits in the garage. Time for it to go.”
It looks like there’s been a patch along the driver’s side. Otherwise, this appears pretty stock. It’s not running.
“This antique classic Willys CJ3A Jeep’s frame and body are in good shape with little rust, has original motor and would be a great project. The heads have been machined for unleaded fuel. It has a clean Texas title. This Willys has been parked & garaged for several years and currently not running so will need to be trailered. Sorry, cash upon pick up only and without warranty.”

UPDATE: Still Available
(12/1/09) Note that the jeep has lived its entire life in Wenatchee. The original ad listed this as completely original. While it’s got a few extra addons, I suspect it is mostly original.
“1951 Willy’s, excellent condition, original running gear, 12 volt electrical system, run great, $3,750.00 obo 509-860-3104 leave message”
This Jeep has some personality. It’s a bit beat up, but I like it.
“This is and old Jeep that has been in the family for about 30 years and has just been used on private property to stay out of the weather when hunting which is great and push snow. The engine is the 4cyl. Hurricane with 3 speed manual trans. It starts and runs but has been sitting for some time and will need a tune up and the pinion seals show some leaking. The electrical system is the original 6 volt but starter has been rewound for 12 volt. Generator does not work but alternator does. Snow plow is homemade but does the job. The odometer shows 63827 but stopped working long ago. A water line can be seen but that was years ago and is dry at this time. With this said it would be necessary to trailer home and do some TLC before being roadworthy. I have a clear Missouri title in my name that will be reassigned over to you with a bill of sale. You can email me at floods@earthlink.net Thank you Duane.”
