Here’s a flattie with some very large tires.

“1951 flatfender (grey, white, black forest camo paint), 231 buick V6 ( just installed, runs great), 4 speed tranny, 38″ super swampers (95% tread), On-board air: front bumper is an air tank w/ quick disconect to run air tools, locker front and back (not sure what kind, I just know from wheeling it it is locked up), CB & CD radio, Dual fuel tanks, 1978 tandem axle trailer (doesn’t look great, but trailer is very solid. I use it every year to haul jeep, 1 four-wheeler, and 1 motorcycle), I would like to sell these together, but I will sell jeep only (make offer). If I sell the trailer I can’t haul jeep.”

UPDATE 2:  I stopped to checked this jeep out on my way home this evening.  There are corner post holder holes (it’s too late for me to remember what the correct term is) on the rear corners, so I can’t help think the body is a CJ-2A.  Though not perfectly straight, the body appears rust free.  I saw no rust underneath along the hat channels either.  The Data Plate looks brand new.

I wonder what condition the floor is in given the addition of the aluminum.

UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was $10,000

There’s clearly lots of time and money put into this custom CJ-3A.  If the model (cj-3a) is accurate, it’s one of probably several hundred.  This has some stainless parts.

“Classic Willys, customized with all the extras. Original 1948 body, 225 Odd-fire V6 1965 Buick engine, T18 truck transmission 4 speed 7:1 ratio deep under. Power steering, power locks front and rear. Stainless steel grill and windshield, chrome rockguards, custom Emiron black paint–lots more. This appears to have a CJ-3B windshield with a CJ-2A body and maybe a CJ-3A title?
