I love the old hubs on this classic CJ-3A (pic below).  I don’t think I’ve seen these Cutter hubs before.  I did a search on them, but couldn’t find anything.

“Up for auction is an amazingly original 1950 CJ3A. This vehicle was used by the mosquito abatement district in Chico, California since the 50’s and has been very well maintained. Other than an inop vacuum wiper motor, worn clutch and non-original temp gauge everything is original and works! (Even the hand brake!) Unless the vehicle was in use it was stored in a closed maintenance garage contributing to the great condition of the body tub and frame. The only rust on the vehicle is located in the passenger side floor/hat channel, an area adjacent to the driver’s side top bow pocket and and area on the driver’s side just forward of the rear wheel well opening, (see pictures). That’s it! …. There is so much more! New battery and starter. Very unusual Cutter front hubs. You don’t run across one like this very often! Those old terra-like tires appear in pretty good shape.  I had a set a couple decades ago before switching to desert dogs.  This has a few dents and dings, but looks solid.  I’m guessing it’s stored inside.

This looks cleaned up and ready to hit the road.

The price appears to high given the state of the body, so I expect the price to drop before it is sold.

This might be a pretty good price as it runs and drives.  No glaring problems with the body that I see.

“1950 Jeep CJ-3A. Original 4 cylinder engine, new radiator core, fuel pump, re-built starter. Runs great! Saginaw steering. Two soft tops, roll-bar and tow bar. All wheel/axle seals recently serviced and replaced. Lots of extra parts.”

This looks like a very good price.

It appears the body has been painted since it was put up for sale a couple months ago.  This appears to be a good price.
