This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3999.
It appears to be a CJ-3B, but it’s listed as a 1950. It also has a CJ-3A windshield. Maybe a mix of parts?
“For sale 1950 jeep willy. currently does not run due to carburetor being dirty. I have not had the time to remove and rebuild. A new carburetor is not to expensive and can be found on multiple websites.”
Listed as a 1952 M-38, it looks more like a CJ-3B. It’s a project.
“1952 willys M38 jeep 4×4 its all complete with the original engine and tranny
And transfer case all Untouched with all the factory body parts she is very solid.
The M38 windshield could be folded flat for firing and the body was equipped with a pintle hook for towing and lifting shackles front and rear. The headlights were no longer recessed as on previous models, but protruded with a guard wire in front. The “pioneer” tools (axe and shovel) which were carried on the MB’s driver side were transferred to the passenger side of this vehicle”

“I have a 1950’s Willys Jeep for sale. The motor runs great, smooth, and no smoke. All the electrical needs rewiring, as some of the wires are broken and the insulation is falling off too. The master cylinder is frozen as the brake pedal won’t move and the air cleaner is missing. Also, there is a hand operated plow set up on it, but I do not have the plow itself. There is no paper work with this, but I will include a bill of sale.”

We’ve owned it for quite some time now we planed to fully restored but times are tough and we can’t afford it.
It’s just been taking up space in our garage
It’s a Fun Truck to drive great for Off Roading
And Farming.

“I bought this 1953 Willys CJ3B in Georgia back in July and drove it 1600 miles (cruising speed 35mph, 10 plus hours a day) from Georgia back to Boston over the course of 4 days. This jeep is reliable to say the least! From what I know it was owned by an elderly gentleman for the past 20 plus years and kept in his drive in basement. He would use it to drive into town once a week for lunch at the local diner.
