UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800
It’s a little funky, but runs and drives.
“CJ5 Pickup 4cl OHV 90 HP. New brakes,& shocks Ing.carb. 6ft snowplow. $1,800. OBO”
This is a flattie body on a CJ-5 frame.
“This is a 1953 JP 3J (CJ3A) body on a 1972 CJ-5 chassis and running gear.
It has a Buick V-6 (odd fire) I believe it’s a 225 ci. Mid 60’s engine.
The body is straight and the pan has been replaced.
This is a solid Little Willy’s that runs and drives great.
Rear axel bearings need to be replaced. I have a complete set of Seals and bearing that go with the sale.
It also comes with a Road-master Explorer folding tow bar.
10/32-16LT Super Swampers on steel wheels. Lots of tread left, 80-90% roughly.
No Trades, cash only please.”
This might be worth a look. Needs the radiator replaced/fixed.
“Please read the AD…it helps out and lists all information necessary
$1700 or best offer…
-1959 CJ-5
-Original 4-cylinder, engine and trans have been completely rebuilt with all new fluids etc.
-3 speed trans-rebuilt
-33″ all terrain tires (will need to be replaced at some point).
-in decent shape for its age and what it has come from. the floor pans are in tough shape from previous owner but the metal is there and I purchased the passenger side floor pan which is bolted, not welded in yet. was sanded and primored before being painted
-Radiator will need to be replaced or welded, it has a leak in the bottom. but have been told it can be fixed.
-generator will need to be rebuilt or replaced or you can convert it and go with an alternator which is probably the better option unless you are restoring to original.
-Ran and drove last summer until the radiator sprung the leak. so it has been sitting since. Motor cranks just fine, but will not get started due to the lack of power coming from the generator, battery is all but dead.
We never planned on more than just using it as a little street cruiser or towing it behind out camper when needed. The body isnt in great shape, but for what it is, it is a great street cruiser and a fun jeep to just drive around and beat up and have a little fun in. Gears shift great, and cruises at about 45 mph without a problem. THIS IS NOT A HIGHWAY VEHICLE! a great restoration project or a great little vehicle for a beat around town kind of toy. Or to turn into an off road vehicle.
No trades, looking for cash.
Call after 5:00 PM or text at any time”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Jim pointed out the unusual method of attaching a thermometer to the dash of this CJ-5. Does this have a rear PTO? I’ve never seen one covered quite like that.
“Original unrestored classic daily driver. 32500 miles rebuilt 2500 miles ago, original teal paint, stock bumpers front and rear, new tires, top, shocks, very solid vehicle, very little rust, some rust in tool box(see pic.) heater is not connected, speedometer not working now,but have new cable.garaged 37yrs.stock wheels and hub caps.”
Nice looking jeep. Shouldn’t a Tuxedo Park model have plates on the hood?
“Jeep stock 1964 CJ-5a Tuxedo Park $ 7,500.oo
It has the rare original rear seat, and a rare nos kayline white soft top.
