Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The engine is out, but this sure looks like a good price.
“1962 Jeep CJ-5 Willys. NO RUST (even on floor) I think it might even have the orginal paint. Currently has engine remove (I was going to do an engine swap). Comes with orginal engine (probally needs rebuild). I have owned and used the Jeep for a few years around my property. Transmission, transfer case, and axles are in great shape. There are many different engines that can be swaped into it or you can rebuild the orginal 134 f-head. CALLS ONLY ON EMAILS.

“i have a old 1963 jeep willys cj5 it has a fiberglass tub and fenders it needs alot of work needs engine, gas tank, brake lines, tires,dash, wireing, seats, the windsheild frame is roted. good for a restortation projected the axle are dana 44 rear dana27 front with 538 gears and a t-90 3spd has a good soild frame. i have a engine to go with it that will runs. i have the mass title to go with it. towing availble at xtra $$. thanks for looking.”

“Neat little Jeep…fun to drive…V-6 – 3 spd – 4×4 works good – Clutch, transmission & brakes good. It hasn’t been abused or rusted out & I haven’t found any bondo repairs.

“1960 willys jeep this is a project it had a 4 cyl in it however i pulled it to fix it and it was cracked, i still have it less the head has 3 speed tranny intacted and a tow bar and lights for easy transport tires are good and jeep is in overall good shape , look at the pic and if you want more pics call me it is located in skitook lake ready fore you to hook to your bumper and take home, put a 350 in it whatever , make me a offer it has to go i owe some storage and need some cash its a loss for me but that is common right now , attached pic call fopr more info and get wifes permission first, thanks 918 743 8183”

Buick 231 V6 engine with auto turbo 350 transmission, Dana model 18 transfer case, Dana 44 rear end w/ locker, Dana 35 front with locker, 33×13.5×15 Interco super swamper tires (2 brand new), new Bilstein 5150 shocks, 5.38 gearing, new best top tiger top w/doors, new windshield frame and hinges, plus many, many more parts. Racing seats up front, new bench seat in rear. All with harnesses. Currently registered until Oct 2010. I hate to sell it but we don’t really rock crawl anywhere and that is what this is built to do. That’s one dirty windshield! The jeep looks rust free on the outside. This might be a good deal if the jeep will start.
