Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1944 Willys Jeep Marine Corps Issue w/ Title. New: -Motor -Transmission -Transfer case
-Brakes -Exhaust -Battery -Also includes removable raised rear hunting seats w/ rollbar.”
There might be some value here. That’s an unusual hood on the GPW (likely fiberglass).
“I HAVE THREE JEEPS FOR PARTS. ONE IS A 1969 WITH THE DAUNTLESS V-6 AND ALL THE RUNNING GEAR. ONE IS A CJ-3B THAT HAS NO ENGINE BUT WAS SET UP FOR A CHEVY SMALL BLOCK. IT HAS LATER FRONT AND REAR END IN IT WITH 11 INCH BRAKES AND 4.27 GEARS. T-90 TRANSMISSION WITH THE ADAPTER FOR THE CHEVY. THE THIRD ONE IS A MILITARY FORD JEEP. IT HAS NO ENGINE BUT WAS ALSO SET UP FOR A SMALL BLOCK CHEVY WITH AN AUTOMATIC. IT HAS THE FRONT AND REAR END. I ALSO HAVE A T-90 TRANSMISSION AND T-18 TRANSFER CASE AND A FOUR BANGER F-HEAD ENGINE. “1945 WWII MILITARY FORD GPW Jeep Matching Numbers Frame, Engine, and Data Tag on Glove Box. Has CJ T-90 Trans; Chevy steering; CJ Axles; Roll Bar; Tow Bar; Hubs and Best Top. Runs Great.”
UPDATE: Josh notes that this is a GPW body and parts.
Brett spotted this Jeep, listed as a 1947 CJ-2A. This clearly has, at the very least, a WWII body and front clip. The body looks in good shape.

I’ve seen lots of ‘hood bumps, but never anything like this. That said, the body appears in good shape. Given where the handle bar is located on the dash, I’m wondering if this is an early body that doesn’t have the glove box?
