This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For Sale is a complete 1950 Willys Overland Jeepster Convertible in restorable condition.
I have just completed a duplicate and the results are very impressive. Fun car to drive and turns a lot of heads. Newly rebuilt F-134 4 cylinder engine with 3 speed transmission. Engine is very strong and transmission is in good condition. Some rust in floor boards and rocker panels which are easily found online. All parts available to fully restore. Good tires, brakes stop but will need to be replaced. Includes convertible top and side curtains. Paint is passable but you will probably re-paint to complete this excellent project car. Too many projects and too little time. First $5,000 cash take it”

Drive to the summer 4 wheel drive events in the coolest, newest old Jeep around. Or just drive it around town, top down, enjoying the Summertime! Jeep (ie Willys Overland) COULD have offered this vehicle in 1950. Instead, they chose to offer everything only in 4WD while the Jeepster was only available in 2WD. “1949 Willy’s Overland Jeepster, Runs great! Has a 289 V-8 engine, automatic transmission, CD Player (w/detachable face), power steering, power brakes, cloth top convertible w/side curtains. Extra grill and headlights come with it. Great start for a collector vehicle or addition to the ones you have! Is in very good condition but not perfect. Was asking $15,000.00, then reduced to $12,000.00 and now $9,950 OBO- we really need the space in our garage so our loss and your gain!
