Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This former Grays Harbor Shriner’s Jeepster has even converted to an automatic tranny (probably from a Pinto … looks like one anyway) with a Pinto engine. I love the history on this one. Looks like a great price.

“i have for sale a great condition 1968 jeepster for sale. it was made kaiser willys jeep in Toledo Ohio. it a v6 3 speed manual transmission 4 wheel drive with manual hubs. this model is alittle more rare as it has 3 factory gas tanks. it has the continental bumper. clean yellow paint with good paint. All good glass. runs and drives great with classic plates. Time to change things up so trades maybe considered for other classic cars but would prefer cash. tires are great and has roughly 63000 miles. everything works as it should. im asking 15000 o.b.o. i have a clean and clear title. It will come with a service manual and several extra parts and goodies.”

“I have Two Willys JEEPSTER projects both are 1950. I have enough parts to build both vehicles. These are two door four seat convertibles (Phaeton) style vehicles. These are very nice custom builder projects with pallets of spare parts. One body is on a highly modified original frame with four wheel independent suspension and four wheel disk brakes. The other body does not include a frame and can easily be fit to a Toyota Four Runner chassis or something similar. A zero time Mercedes-Benz 300 Turbo diesel engine and transmission are available at an extra cost.”

“Up for sale is a rare 1950 willys jeepster. Body is in fair condition with some rust repair needed. Frame is in very good condition, some surface rust no holes.
Has original 4 cylinder motor that turns over by hand. Engine is complete, but does not run. Seat frames are there but need redone. Frame for top is there and complete, top is long gone.
Tires are shot but does roll. I have 8 jeeps and will not be getting to this one anytime soon.

“2 1050 Jeepsters. One parts car rusted alot. Other very restorable. Yellow car orig. Paint. Very nice nose grille and doors. Extra door and windshield frame. Yellow car 90% complete. Both have orig drive trains. Both have 3 spd column shift with overdrive. Yellow car has org 6 cyl. Both motors stuck. Lots of parts. 2 nice comlete top frames. Multiple sets of trim. Cool project.”
