One is more of a parts jeep, but both run.
“(2) M38A1 Military Jeeps. One is restorable and the other is for parts. Both run but neither has working brakes. Included in the sale is a complete master brake kit -9″, made for the M38A1 from Kaiser Willys Auto Supply which cost $494.99.The last photo is the boxes of brake parts.
The olive drab Jeep is very original with it’s 24 volt electrical system. Although painted over, you can still see the US Army markings on the hood. Floor pans NOT rusted through and the frame is in great shape.
The orange parts Jeep has been converted to 12 volts. It comes with a gas tank and the original orange hood.
Various other parts are included: Spare wheel, antenna mount, brand new steel tubing frame to hold a canvas top and it’s associated clips, etc.
Both Jeeps have brand new batteries.”

The front fenders and grille suggest this is a 52 or 53. I like this just the way it is.
“1954 Willys M38A1 military Jeep for sale. Jeep runs really good and drives really good. The Jeep is still 24 volt system. It has the original military drivetrain. the seats have new canvas covers. the only thing added is lockout hubs and a tow bar. 4000 or best offer. local pickup only.”

This early M-38A1 may be worth a look. 50 years in storage?
“Selling 1952 M38a1 Willys military jeep project will need powerplant installed which I have. This jeep has been in dry storage for 50+ years so the tub is in excellent shape just has a few bumps and bruises.”
