UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2300.
(05/16/2014) Keith’s selling his M-38A1. It runs, but does need some work.
“I have had this Jeep about 3 months. Quickly realized I do not have time to work on it. The jeep sat in a garage since 2002. Before that, it was used as a hunting vehicle. As such, the body needs some work. I figure, if nothing else, a person can barely get a decent ATV these days for the same money as I am asking for a (rough)vintage jeep. As of now, I am staying FIRM at $3000. If I can’t get that much, that is ok, I will just hold on to it.
UPDATE: Was $4700. **Sold**
Looks ready to go now or could be restored.
“Perfect for hunting or running around the ranch! 1958 Willys M38A1, MD102078, running, odometer: 33052 mi, has working winch. Much stronger and more durable than the earlier jeeps. Drive Train: The M38A1 used the “Hurricane” F-Head 134 I4 engine, T-90 3 speed transmission, Dana 18 transfer case, either the Dana 25 or the Dana 27 front axle, and Dana 44 rear axle.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
This might be worth a closer look.

“This is an excellent retired military jeep. It has been driven in parades for the last 6 years. Runs great no has no mechanical issues. The Ma Duce fires with propane and oxygen, looks and sounds real. Ready to drive home. The pictures tell it all. If you need any other information, feel free to contact me. Thanks for looking, Mike.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6700.
Looks solid.
“1952 WILLYS USMC JEEP

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6200.
“1953 M38A1 Willys military Jeep, runs great. Lots of fun to drive. Four wheel drive works, low range works. Many new parts, many spare parts. Service manual and soft top with doors included. Original data plates, very little rust – passenger side floor board only. Has the flat head Willys go devil engine, T90 transmission, Dana 18 transfer case, Dana 25 front axle and Dana 44 rear axle. Was converted to 12volt system. Clear title in hand. Had tags and registration for awhile and drove it around town, it draws lots of looks. I don’t seem to have the time to take it out much, and hate to let it just sit in the garage. Would love to see someone continue to enjoy and take care of this rare piece of American history.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,500
Sounds like the seller has taken good care of this.
“1954 Willy’s Military Jeep M38A1, Clean title, matching numbers.
I have a 54 M38A1 Military Jeep for sale. It has 20,000 original miles on the body and less than 2,000 on original rebuilt motor. I have gone through everything on the Jeep. I have owned it since 1986 but I don’t get to use it much anymore so I decided to sell it instead of letting it sit, when someone else could be driving it and having a good time. Hot August Nights is just around the corner.
UPDATE: Was $1500. **SOLD**
Looks like it might be a good project. Nice cage.
“Project Jeep, body is in good condition, is not running. This is the military body. “
Is that wood on the rear floor?
