Tour de France Jeep Toy on eBay
Craig spotted this rare jeep. I wish I had the extra nickels to compete for it. It includes four plastic bicycles, too.
“Up for auction is a very nice old unused Tour de France car with 4 bikes. It is in Original Box. The Jeep with the bikes is 5.25 inches long x 2.75 inches at the front fenders. The front of the windshield says Tour de France with 2 French flags. It is a very pretty mint green color This toy shows no signs of any use. The box and toy are in very good condition. The box shows 2 figures in the front seat, but it does not appear to have them, not that they are missing. There are no marks where they might have been. Ask questions and bid carefully. Paypal ships fastest. Thanks”

1963/4 Western Auto Jeep Kit
The owner of this unusual jeep kit from Western Auto would like more information. Anyone ever seen or remember one of these? I spent some time trolling through “western auto” ads from past years on eBay, but didn’t have any luck
Here is a collection of scanned Western Auto ads on Flickr, but no jeep like the one below.

Tri-ang Pedal Jeep United Kingdom Auction
Paul found this toy for sale. This appears to be missing the steering wheel and the windshield.
“Jeep pedal Car – A childs 1950’s example in original orange livery with repainted wheels – missing parts but with spare wheel and jerry can holder to rear.”
Unique Pedal Jeep Battle Creek, MI **SOLD**
UPDATE:**SOLD** Was $750.
This is a restored model jeep of some type. I just looked to see if I have plans for this one, but I didn’t find any.
“Hello, I am selling a very unique pedal jeep. It was built in the late 50’s by a craftsman/machinist, partly from scratch and partly using other pedal car parts, which makes it almost like folk art. Has steel and wood body parts, All wood parts are new (but follow original pattern) and has new wheels w/ball bearings. It has a suspension which is unusual for a pedal car, chain drive, and steering via steering gear box which is also rare and unusual. I have not found one like it ANYWHERE, it has been restored in an army jeep theme. Come check it out in person! Would be a really great addition for a collector looking for rare pedal cars, this is more rare than a Garton.”
Garton Surrey Pedal Jeep Ottawa, KS **SOLD**

I’ve seen photos of the Hamilton Surrey Pedal Jeep (mid page ad here) on the CJ-3B Page, but I hadn’t previously seen a Garton version (see info about Garton here).
