(09/26/2015) Runs and drives.
“This is a 1959 Willys pickup that has the power plant form a mid seventies Chevy truck. 350 V8/transmission/xfer case. It is a perfect candidate for restoration/re-power. The body has some rust, but I have used this to haul wood, etc. The truck bed is lined with diamond plate steel. Engine runs great. Have new upholstery for it, but have not installed it yet. 12V system, with alternator, Chevy steering box/column, with power steering. New window felt on doors, new glass on passenger door.”
UPDATE: Was $8500 **SOLD**
(07/29/2015) This appears to be a nice restoration with an interesting history.
“I have a 1952 Willys Pickup with original 134-F engine and drive train. I’ve been working on the restoration for the last couple of years and is mostly completed. I have receipts for several thousand dollars in new parts. The truck was originally purchased by the Department of Agriculture for use in the Forest Service, (still has asset tags) then sold to private owner who passed it down to his son, who sold it to me in 2013.
The truck is drivable and licensed with a collector plate.
More pictures available upon request.
Serious inquires only please”
