Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This is a good looking truck.
“Quite the classic. Easily the most commented-upon car I’ve ever driven, you really can’t go anywhere without questions and compliments.
This was my mom’s toy and daily driver for many years. A generally good condition, pretty original specimen. Not all hacked-up like almost all of the ones you see around and just new enough to go on the freeway in it’s original trim.
The motor is the “super-hurricane” flat-head 6 cylinder it runs fine with a recent valve job. The transmission was rebuilt before we bought it and holds all gears nicely uphill and down, there is an old Warn “all range” overdrive that allows highway speeds with no undue strain on the motor, drivetrain or driver. It also gives you a total of 12 forward and 4 reverse speeds for offroading or just showing-off.

“For sale is my 1955 Willy’s pick up. The transmission has the conversion for a chevy straight six. From my understanding this vehicle was running and driving with in the last decade. I have a good running engine for it that can be worked into the deal as well. The pick up has the PTO driven winch on the front bumper. I have the title for this pick up.
