This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Shep spotted this truck on a Ford Chassis.
“Good condition, stock body, Ford drive train and engine. Musical horns that play “Dixie” Extra body parts.”
This might be a good price, especially if you already have an extra radiator.
“1957 4 X 4 Willys Jeep pickup, straight 6 cylinder engine. This would be a great restoration vehicle, lots of parts available. The engine starts and runs; it does need a new radiator. I bought it for a desert runner, however, I found a CJ2A don’t need both. $600.00 . Will trade for a trailer big enough for a Jeep CJ. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Here’s a nicely done restoration using a S-10 Chassis. Also interesting is the effect of painting the tines of the grille a different color from the body paint.

This can be used as a daily driver, then tak it to shows and come home with a trophy. The Willys can be driven anywhere, so fly in and drive her home. 4.3 Chevy V6 with throttle body FI. 5 Speed tranny for good gas mileage. 15 American Racing wheels. The truck need nothing to run her down the road. No titles in Maine so bill of sale and transfer Maine Registration. May end at any time.”

I don’t believe this has an engine or tranny (the ad notes it is set up for a chev 350 and trans).

The price looks good, though the truck is hard to see in the pic.

(08/07/2015) This still needs some wiring, plumbing and body finishing.
“For sale a 1960 Willy’s Pickup truck almost finished. Has frame up restoration, tons of new and rebuilt parts to go with it. Only need wiring, plumbing and the body finished. I have the wiring harness and all the new rubber, new windows ect… It is registered and insured just finish it and you will be cruising before you know it. I may be willing to trade for something of equal value.”
