1955 Willys 226 Super Hurricane Engine $600 Caledonia, MI

Oh wow this would be in the back of my truck in minutes. Small Pallet solid top and a 4×4 under the front of the oil pan, strap to the pallet then load and go! Has so much here for 226 folks! No haggle from me on the price.

I can’t really see it but looks like no skid plate on the oil pan so maybe a 2WD Oil Pan, or its there and I just am missing it.

The important life lesson I learned was the bottom of 2WD Willys Oil Pans are not always FLAT, so if you place said engine on the floor they tip to one side! The 4WD skid plates are FLAT and will generally stand up nicely. Be safe out there!

1951 Willys Wagon Frame $1,500 Sioux City, IA

Some neat parts on this one OD and some sort of dual MC set up, appears end of life but its an interesting look at the past set up. I almost thought it was a hydraulic clutch set up. The input shaft looks like a V8 conversion, they use the 6 Cyl longer input shaft but have that little taper part closer to the front of the T90 front bearing support piece. (hope I did not confuse anyone with that description, and I could be wrong on that, just what it looks like to me). Front crossmember engine support looks modified to further my thinking here. So if I’m not totally crazy and just seeing things, this may have been a V8 swap, OD, Dual MC (stacked somehow) Wagon in its past.  Good price point and it looks pretty solid.

MISC Small Wagon and Willys Parts Hodgenville, KY

Not going to win for the largest post of the day, but sometimes you need those smalls and they can be hard to come by, here is a small collection of Wagon parts, and a neat Radio, that might be better suited for the Studebaker crowd, but says there are some more here then what is shown. I have done well with these picks before you go out for something and bring home a lot more then expected.

Was posted 24 days agon but still up as of this AM.

1960 Willys Maverick Wagon $25,900 Newfield, NJ

Mike sent over a link to to a really nice Maverick Wagon, it looks really well done.

Has a lot of the correct Maverick stuff one would expect from a high level Willys.

  • Interior Wood slat delete, these had a carpet kit.
    • The Maverick in general was pitched as a more refined family rig.
  • Additional Trim below the window line and around the cowl.
  • F134 2WD really standard.
  • BWOD
  • Inlay around gauges.
  • This has a nice radio installed, along with the 2 Aux Gauges.
  • Interior is amazing looking, the seats look legit, I don’t think they repop that material from what I have seen.
  • This also has a cigarette lighter.
  • Probably needs an Exhaust soon along with some clean up of the underbody to address some of the very very small issues under there, not complaining but spend a weekend now and it will pay dividends for a very long time.
  • Missing are the original Captive Air Tires, but will let that slide.

1950 Jeep Willys Wagon $2,500 OBO Kamas, UT

1950 Wagon, was an advertising rig, who does not remember that cool Bear Wheel Alignment advertising, neat stuff! Not sure there is a whole Wagon here, but it’s a neat piece to explore.

Looks like a 2WD possibly, thinking it had rear quarters replaced in its lifetime, column shift. The round holes up front inside along the time of the windshield I feel are older so it should be around what they are claiming 1950.

Information from seller:

1950 willys wagon. Decent shape, really fun patina. 2.5k and willing to negotiate in person cash in hand. Not willing to trade…unless it’s a reliable fishing boat. Selling because house and medical stuff. Getting old and being responsible sucks sometimes.

1949 Jeep Willys Wagon $9,500 Hodgenville, KY

This is a Restomod, but looks like maybe an S10 swap, not sure actually says 355/350 Turbo.

Body looks solid, it is a little but of a Willys Salad, the round wheel wells do lead it to be earlier Wagon body but the front clip is newer then ’49.

But that one inside shot tells a lot:

  • Has the rectangle cutout in the center correct for a ‘49
  • The round holes up top where the headliner are older, they switched to oval ones pretty early on.
  • Push button doors.

The wheels look fairly centered in the wheel wells, I would need this to be a little lower for my taste if it’s a frame swap which with the tilt column and front sway bar, it pretty much looks like it is. Lower it a tad toss on some Torque Thrust wheels, body color the hood, get a more correct Willys bumper out front, update the seats to maybe some of those Tom’s Bronco Seats and just get in and go!

Willys Jeep Traveller Roof Rack $1,000 or OBO or Trade Spokane, WA

Willys Jeep Traveller Roof Rack $1,000 or OBO or Trade Spokane, WA

This was posted on OWF by a member who ran across this and was going to use it for a build but these are special to the 4WD Traveller model that was used more as a transport and was a mix of a Wagon, Parkway Conversion had Barn Doors and round wheel wells. They are a really neat model of Willys. Pair them up with the 230 and these are really cool rigs, so only fitting that someone who could maybe use this for their build has a shot at it.

Both of my Wagons are ’63 and have the lower ribbed roof, the Delivery would have used the tall non ribbed roof, so before you toss some Willys Bucks at this beware, you probably need to have at least an older pre 1958 Wagon with the tall roof. I would be very intrigued to see if Willys did any support under the roof for the Traveller model, or if it was all on the design to push the weight to the sides as shown.  I’ve cleaned my roof a few times and it’s really fragile up there, I really have to take care not to put any kind of real pressure on the roof in general. Not sure on the other roofs, let me know if they are that much stronger.

Or if you have a Traveller and can take some shots of the inside roof where this would go on a 4WD Traveller that would help.

Here is the go to thread on all things Traveller on OWF.

1946-1950 Willys Jeep Delivery Hood with trim $140 Effingham, IL

• CATEGORIES: Parts, Willys Wagons This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

1946-1950 Willys Jeep Delivery Hood with trim $140 Effingham, IL

Has a good looking hood spear, was added to with something but really nice looking, hood prop rod and parts there, badges, straight piece for sure.

Information from seller:

Part of my dad’s estate. Appears to be an original hood from a Willys Jeep Delivery panel wagon. Believed to be for some 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, and early 1950 models. Referred to as a 4750, from what I’ve gathered. It needs restored but is in solid condition for the year. See the pics. Missing the hood ornament (sphere?) but has the chrome center strip and both side badges, although they are all pitted. I’ve received conflicting info on the hood ornament. One person said it was an option and another said it was aftermarket. I can’t find any pics online showing one, so maybe it was an add-on by a previous owner. Either way, it’s missing now. Pickup in Effingham, IL. (No shipping unless you arrange it and pay for the hood in cash/Venmo first.) FCFS and cross posted.
