A 1955 newspaper ad for jeep looks familiar to me. Noticing that the spare tire was mounted like that of a CJ-2, I realized that the CJ-5 portion of the photo had been illustrated and an extra tree added.

“Up for sale is a rare 1950 willys jeepster. Body is in fair condition with some rust repair needed. Frame is in very good condition, some surface rust no holes.
Has original 4 cylinder motor that turns over by hand. Engine is complete, but does not run. Seat frames are there but need redone. Frame for top is there and complete, top is long gone.
Tires are shot but does roll. I have 8 jeeps and will not be getting to this one anytime soon.
