This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. A March 25, 1941, set of photos in the Kansas City Star shows a Bantam BRC-60 flying high at one point, but then being dragged across a river by a horse at another point.
Sam shared this photo which he spotted on a Facebook Porsche page. It looks like this early Jeepster is pulling about 12(?) carts full of kids.
This may be a VEC CJ-2A or it’s a mix of parts.

“1943 willys. I bought this jeep and did some work on it. It runs pretty good. Original motor and running gear. Don’t have time for it now. It needs a complete brake job. I have driven it and I have a separate set of tires for it. It is a project. Thanks for looking.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800.
It’s a project with a replacement body.
“THIS IS A PROJECT. No Engine Or Transmission , Roller, New Aftermarket body $2,500 By its self. 4” Rancho spring lift and shocks. 3” body lift. 35 x12.50 x15 Tires and wheels, tires hold air but very old. Roll bar, Custom Bumpers , Frame has been sandblasted and painted, power steering box. Old body can go with it. If add is up it is available.”

This looks to be a sizable project.
“1945 Ford GPW project, I have ran the pink slip. Not not running and is partially disabled for inspection. $2000 would get you this good start to a Ford GPW (willys mb) jeep, I have a few parts that I gathered to complete build and will include. New ring and pinion with power lock for rear, drivers side rear corner and front frame section”

The Meyer Snow Plow brochure includes a large section about the ElectroLift. Labeled form no. 3-163, the brochure is a standard paper side with a half-paper-sized section that folds out horizontally to reveal more details about the Electrolift. There is not date on this brochure, but I’d guess early 1960s.
Note that the left side of the back of this brochure is the same as the image above. It’s the right side that folds out.
