This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The Duffield Intermediate School was featured in this January 29, 1944, photo in the Detroit Tribune after successfully enough war bonds and stamps to buy a jeep.

These might be based on the Koenig bed extender (see a variety of extenders here). I’ve not interacted with the seller and have not seen one in person yet. Has anyone ordered one of these?

“Classic 1967 Jeepster Deluxe Convertible. Runs great. Body is rust free. Chrome bumpers have slight pitting. Currently has bucket seats installed but I have the factory original low back seats and will include them in the sale. Newer paint, newer tires with 95% tread and newer top. This has an automatic transmission!!! Power top mechanism was working when I replaced the top but I did not reinstall the old parts; it should work if parts are replaced. Original radio doesn’t work, gas gauge does not work. Looks great and runs great. 4wd mechanism is not connected, we use this only to make ice cream runs in nice weather in the summer. Never goes out in the rain, etc.”

Drives great, very fun , purrs like a kitten, Still has the 6volt foot start system, generator works, absolutely no mechanical issues. Fires right up on the coldest days. Seats were original but got a puppy and she decided to tear them up so does need reupholstered 🙁 has original jack and tools. “1970 cj6 long wheel base Jeep. These jeeps are rare. 101” wheelbase. Runs and drives however it is a project. Clean ca title and current registration. Dauntless 225 v6 original motor. Dana 44 rear and a Dana 27 I believe in the front. Drum brakes old school technology. 3 speed with a warn overdrive. Rebuilt Holley 2 barrel carb and a new distributor. The tires are 33 inch and currently junk. I have to swap one out due to being flat.
Possible trade for a built banshee, 250r, long travel built quads. Plus cash if needed.
I am more of a Toyota guy and decided not to build this Jeep. I was going to install a 14 bolt rear and a Dana 44 front with 37” tires and leaf spring it AND THEN CRUISE IT… It’s a great platform with a reliable motor. I believe it has a Detroit true track in the rear.”
