“1942 Ford GPW Serial Number 8727, DOD 3-19-42. Early Script GPW with flat top grill. Has the first Ford frame with squared front frame horns that are in very good condition. GPW Engine Serial number GPW 12436 stuck and need rebuilding. The Jeep is title is under then engine #. The jeep has a fully transferable Bonded Title in my name. This GPW will need a full restoration has rust in typical areas like the shovel/axe area, fuel tank sump and on the passenger side step. Floors only have a couple of spots of rust through but have a significant amount of pitting. I’m not sure if that can be repaired. Surprisingly the hat channels are solid. The frame is straight but has rust through in 3 spots that will need to be repaired.
