Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This GPW was supposedly found in Tunisia and restored in Italy. It will go up for auction in Germany (if I understand correctly) March 26-27.

“1950 Willys Jeepster, complete, original. Produced in Ohio from 1948-51. Just over 10k built. It was Jeep’s post-war effort at a family car. I have owned it since 1965 when I got my license at 16. It has not been driven since 1978. It has recently been fired up. Needs lots of TLC. Comes with a tow bar.”
