This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1974 Classic DJ5 Postal Jeep. This is a RHD, automatic transmission, postal vehicle. Starts right up! Just replaced the carburetor, all the lights work, tires are in excellent shape, with a nice spare. This vehicle was my husband’s baby but he doesn’t have the time for it anymore. No trades, cash only.”

Ann’s mom is in the hospital and, likely, doesn’t have too long to live, so updates might be hit & miss for the next few days.

Certainly it isn’t the first jeep to be stuck in New Guinea! This photo included a February 25, 1944, article from the Healdsburg Tribune that updated on New Guinea operations.
