Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. On August 04, 1949, the Wolcott Beacon out of Wolcott, Indiana, published directions on how to build a toy Willys Wagon for kids. The length of this toy is about 7″.
It looks like this has a set of hubs, so this was probably taken in the mid 1950s at the earliest.

Lighter green and gray pinstripe and “Trees, Energy, Save” logo. Stake-body, Cab-over design. Brakes are not working. Wooden frame supports have been replaced and restored as well as stake-body timbers.

“Very good condition 1953 Willys Jeep with hydraulic plow and heater. Runs and operates very well. Inside and outside very good condition especially for a nearly 70 year old vehicle that was well kept thru the years. Will make plowing snow easy, can pay for itself over time.”

Both are projects.
“Two projects. One 1947 CJ2A mostly original. Reproduction windshield frame, Tiger top, 10,500lb winch, two sets of wheels and tires. Runs and drives. Extra transmission.
Second jeep is a disassembled 1952 CJ3A with an M38A1 frame. 2001 4.3v6 from a manual Silverado. SM 465 transmission with Novak short shaft kit. Warn overdrive from Herm. Dana 18 transfer case. New CJ5 tank. New CJ5 leaf springs (2-1/2” lift) stock axles. Parts list goes on. Prefer to sell everything as a package but may consider piecing out. Lowball offers will be ignored.”
Maury and I were pondering the value of these. I haven’t seen any sale lately, so I’m not sure where the prices are for them.
