Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 CJ2A painted military green, but it is a civilian jeep. It appears to have been maroon originally. The transmission, clutch, and transfer case have all been rebuilt. It has a new intake manifold, exhaust manifold and complete exhaust installed. It has the original “Go Devil” 4 cylinder engine. 6 volt system with no turn signals. Starts and runs, carb will need some work. It has a clean title in my name. The frame is solid. Down side is it has a fiberglass tub.”

F Head 134 engine
Transmission, transfer case, brakes, all gear boxes are in good running condition
Started cutting the rust out of the floor to patch it up and gave up on it, not much left to work with, I think it needs a new tub and I’m not interested in doing that.”

“Used old car truck glass patterns for door wind wings windshields and back glass form an old glass shop that closed I was told at 100 if not thousands of patterns for cutting glass for old cars from the 30’s or earlier through the 70’s if you have a rare old car most likely there is a pattern to cut all the flat glass in that car.also included with the sale are books listing the glass codes for those windows.
