UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.
“Everything is original” is not quite the case, but the body appears solid.
“1951 M38 military Jeep. Transfer case and Motor completely rebuilt. Frame and body restored. Everything is original. It has been updated from 24v to 12 volt. Have the original field manual. May need a ring gear on the flywheel or a starter which I have have. Not in any hurry to sale. I just hate to see it sitting. $10,000. OBO.”
This Navy issued CJ-3A looks to be a good price.

“Up for sale is my 1951 CJ3A with the coveted Warn overdrive. The United States Navy originally took delivery of this Willys in December of 1951. All information is listed on a brass dash plaque right next to the standard information plaque. It has the original 134 “Go Devil” L-head motor with good oil pressure, T-90 trans with Warn Overdrive, Dana 18 transfer case, Dana 25 front axle, Dana 44 rear and 15″ steel wheels. This vehicle starts, runs, drives and stops. The carb, locking hubs, and wheel cylinders have been replaced. I have had this Willys in storage for 4 years waiting for the time when I could restore it. Time and 4 other Jeeps is proving that may never happen so it needs a new home.
This could interest someone. Rims, fenders, hubs and a PTO winch all look good.

“I bought this jeep to make a crawler out of and have since decided not to pursue that. I have a few extra Willys parts that I can include for a reasonable offer.
The good:
The outer skin on the body is pretty straight one fender is very straight and the other fender is not bad . It has locking hubs both axles are complete it has a PTO winch that is complete with a driveshaft.
Most importantly it has a clean Oregon title and Vin number.
The bad:
There is essentially no floorplan on the driver side passengers isn’t much better. And the frame is actually rusted badly around the drivers foot well.
For my intended purposes, which was using the Vin number and the outer skin and sheet metal it was perfect.
Jeep is located 90 miles south of Bend. I could possibly help with delivery if I have to.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $400.
Maybe someone can use these.

Jason reports that his family continued their annual jeep weekend.
“The King family of Parke County, Indiana held their 9th annual Sweetwater Run Jeep Rally over the 4th of July weekend, 2019. Family members, and extended family members came from six states. Those traveling the farthest came from Oregon. Several events were held…… Favorite Jeep contest, A nine-mile timed route with each leg a different speed, to name a couple.

After a pitch-in Bar-B-Que dinner we followed the trail of the Wabash and Erie Canal. We ended our afternoon Jeep Tour by driving up the world-famous Newport Hill…. where the Newport Hill Climb (newporthillclimb.com) is held annually during the first weekend of October.

We ended the day with music. Singer/songwriter Jack Shannon performed an hour of original songs. His singing and guitar playing was enjoyed by everyone.”

UPDATE: This weekend in the Southwest Ohio FC Gathering. Contact Roger at 937-477-5270 with any questions.

Using the Stradivarius as an example seems an odd choice to me given the Jeep’s demographic. Seems like they could have picked something a little less aloof. Maybe something like, “even a race car needs tune ups” or “even John Wayne has to go to the doctor for checkups”?
“Dealer sales service advertising of Willys. Measures approximately 5″ by 8″ Good condition.”
Here’s another one that was on eBay:
