“1953 Willys 4WD Pickup. Good running classic. It is mostly original. We replaced the cracked engine block, added an electric fuel pump, went to a cartridge air filter, installed electric windshield wipers and upgraded to an 8 volt system and battery. There is an aftermarket overdrive and the engine was totally rebuilt about 8500 miles (10 years ago). There are new brakes, shocks and pitman. The transmission leaks and needs periodic topping off. There is a minor (nuisance) oil pan leak. The bed has been sprayed and it is a nice smooth running old Willys.”
Its not currently running.

“Old Willy’s Jeep. We bought it with hopes of restoration but just not something we want to tackle. Brand new wheels and tires. No miles. Engine not running but we haven’t messed with it. Needs work. Title in my name. Looking to trade for a running Jeep and we will add cash, name your price. We just aren’t the mechanics we thought we were lol.”
This appears to have a Worman half top. Body is rough.

This ad from the September 1969 issue of Four Wheeler Magazine shows the Boulder TowBarGuid, a winch that wrests atop a towbar. The same issue included a story on the winch, though not much background was provided about the company. The winch was manufactured by the Hilmer Company out of Boulder, Colorado.
