This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The motor is a Buick Dauntless 225 V6, runs strong, has a new alternator and fan belt on it.

It seems a shame that these documents are released for public consumption. The price on these is quite high. It looks like the earliest tests on the theory of the Rotabuggy occurred in August of 1941, which is earlier than I would have thought.

“1947 Willys CJ2 Jeep with 45,311 orig. miles. Comes with the original flat head 4 motor. Front counter weight which is very rare. Original Willys tailgate. 4×4 with high/low 3-speed transmission also original. Note: This is not a high speed vehicle. It is 70 years old and the body and frame is in very good condition for its age. Its been stored inside not seeing any salt or snow. We have owned it for app. 15 years with no major issues.
