This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. There are some minor mods and this may have some bodywork. It looks like the holes for the spare tire mount have been filled.

“What you are looking at (as soon as I get the photos added) is one of the most original, unmolested post WWll Willys Jeep that you will ever find. Still in most of it’s original factory Emerald Green paint with touch ups to match (lots of patina). This little gem qualifies as a barn find from San Diego, California.

“1954 Willy’s High Hood
Very solid Willys Jeep with original oak braces under the tub still intact. Floors are solid. Spent most of it’s life in Texas. Drive train is believed to be original. Starts, runs, drives, and stops great. New tires, new brakes, new carburetor. Lights, heater, wipers, gauges work.
Not interested in trades. No flakes. Serious inquires only.”

Blaine shared this modified FC-170 (or is it an FC van?) with a Coca-Cola theme. Anyone have more info about it? It was posted to Pinterest.

“1953 Willy’s military jeep. Don’t know much about it. Has a winch on the front it’s an older one. Bikini top tires are in great shape about 75% it runs. Comes with extra carb fuel pump and an extra engine. Was told it was rebuilt took the valve cove off and it looks to have been rebuilt. And never run. The engines are 4 cylinder. Can’t locate the vin # so selling as parts. The title is California .”
