Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. At least the add doesn’t claim this jeep is “all original”. Nice to see a set of civilian top bows nicely stored in the CJ-2A bow holders. The body appears to have had the rear wheel wells replaced.

“Vintage WWII era hand made wood model of a U.S. Army Jeep. Missing front bumper blocks and one rear corner wire guard, overall good condition. Measures aprox. 5” x 2 1/2” x 1 3/4”, great bit of military folkart.”

There are some minor mods and this may have some bodywork. It looks like the holes for the spare tire mount have been filled.

“What you are looking at (as soon as I get the photos added) is one of the most original, unmolested post WWll Willys Jeep that you will ever find. Still in most of it’s original factory Emerald Green paint with touch ups to match (lots of patina). This little gem qualifies as a barn find from San Diego, California.
