This ad by the American Thermos Bottle Company was published in the May 22, 1943, issue of the Saturday Evening Post. I believe the takeaway from this ad is, If Thermos products are good enough for workers building jeeps, than they are good enough for the average American. However, there seems to be a lack of evidence that Willys and Ford employees were using Thermos products.
Seller is asking $650, but will accept offers.

“This is a heavy duty utility bed installed on a 1959 FC 150 in 1959. I have all the mounts and the refurbished fuel tank. Tailgate is included. It is everything you need to put a service box on your FC 150. It will fit others but I have all the mounts for the FC. I am doing a restoration on this truck and decided to go with the regular bed. It is in great shape for being 60 years old. FC 150 not included. It is heavy and must be picked up in So California.”
Not sure there is anything worth saving on this poor fire victim.
