This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have slat grill 123271/ tub 23570 coming up for sale in the very near future. Lots of hard to find original parts. It has solid floors-poor patching in areas on the exterior. Comes with correct patch panels and crossmember. Incorrect motor with the correct trans and transfer case. Ran before being stored this fall. Was owned by a veteran who was making it a parade jeep. Comes with a full wiring harness from vintage wiring of main/canvas/ and loads of parts. I’ll be selling it to hopefully get my slat restored professionally”

“what you see is what I have, its 4 wd, 3 speed standard on the column, two shifters on the floor, drivetrain is complete, we almost had it started, lost spark, so engine should be good, this Willys has no papers, and it is stored in Pennsylvania, Bangor Pa. North of Easton not too far from NJ, rolls, and steers for loading.”
This is supposed to be a CJ-2A chassis, but I don’t see the older transfercase support on the outside of the frame (maybe it is a late ’48?). This may also have a Porter and Reed hardtop.

“48 Jeep. Have title but is not in my name can have it transferred to me first if you prefer. Partial restoration has begun. Motor has been rebuilt and frame has been painted. Probably needs some bushings etc replaced but overall in great shape. Body is rough and someone has started cutting panels but didn’t finish. All cut outs are there along with new fabricated panels. Some complete some not. Most parts are there. Even have a hard top roof for it and doors but the glass is broken. Still Restin but not Rusting anymore. Parts are Not for sale. ALL OR NOTHING”

This runs and stops. It still needs some work. The body has been painted, so the pics were taken over time.
“Selling for a friend of mine a 1952 Willys jeep m38. The m38 is a limited production military jeep, often referred to the best of the flatfender jeeps. This one is a project but comes with most of the parts needed to complete it including an orginal body tub that has had all the metal work completed. The jeep does run, drive, and stop”

Seller is selling only certain items. It looks like the body has had some work around where the drain holes should be.
