1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A $5,900 Salt Lake City, UT

Price seems very good on this, not much detail in the Ad in general more of a sales ad which is not a bad thing, just can’t share that much about any back story here.

Looks legit straight and has a cool Hard Top, the Grill and Side Brackets do lend it to be a 1946.

Rear mount spare, front bumper must have a back story, and some extra lights up front as well.

1950 Jeep Willys Wagon $2,500 OBO Kamas, UT

1950 Wagon, was an advertising rig, who does not remember that cool Bear Wheel Alignment advertising, neat stuff! Not sure there is a whole Wagon here, but it’s a neat piece to explore.

Looks like a 2WD possibly, thinking it had rear quarters replaced in its lifetime, column shift. The round holes up front inside along the time of the windshield I feel are older so it should be around what they are claiming 1950.

Information from seller:

1950 willys wagon. Decent shape, really fun patina. 2.5k and willing to negotiate in person cash in hand. Not willing to trade…unless it’s a reliable fishing boat. Selling because house and medical stuff. Getting old and being responsible sucks sometimes.

1962 Jeep Willys FC170 $6,500 Brownstown, IN

Neat FC with some history up for grabs, these must have been cool to ride around in on the rails. Looks like it’s there, needs a new home.

Information from seller:

1962 Jeep FC170 · Truck · Driven 29,000 miles Former Railroad Hy-Rail truck, shows 29k miles, currently doesn’t run, ran 7+ years ago, turns over, has compression, no windshield(son broke it playing hide an go seek, was on a shelf wrapped in two moving blankets!), front 2ft of bed floor is missing. 95% rust free. Was told that a donor truck was used for parts to repair rust, pretty much just needs “minor” body work to get into painting condition, interior needs work and is in the bed and boxes but seems to be all there. There is an extra door and tailgate. All parts seem to be present besides the windshield. I do have some Hy-Rail gear available but it is not original to the truck and will require fabrication to attach to the truck. Same ole story. I had hopes to take on this project but 5+ years later I still have barely touched it. Has been stored inside since I got it. Kids and my own business take up all of my time. Time for it to move on I guess. Open to reasonable offers. Brownstown, IN

Has a new body and looks straight. Pretty detailed rig.  I put rigs like this in the get in and enjoy category, it may not be some historic all original, but its still tons of fun and for the price point.

Information from seller:

This is a Jewel. Has a new body; New gauges: converted to 12V; brakes are new; fuel tank converted to plastic. Swing, spare rack added. Has original 4 cyd motor and undercarriage. Owner outdid himself in restoring this vehicle. It was restored for his personal use so it is top notch.

Huddle Jeep Willys Auction Items 9-12-2025 NAPOLEON, OH

Another large Auction of some Jeep and Farm equipment and lots of smalls as well located out in Napoleon, OH.

Online Auction but…. There are some neat items listed and if you are in the area or are looking to make a road trip, might be worth a look at some of this.

This is an estate sale of Herbert Huddle who passed away back in Feb, doing some research he had a large family and did a lot for his Church. He worked at IH and Campbell Soups, held some patents which sounds like a cool machine to sort jumbled cans into a straight line, would be cool to see that in action. Really sounds like a neat guy. Prayers to his family and those who knew him.

https://www.rodenbergergray.com/obituaries/Herbert-Huddle/#!/Obituary

Here is a snap shot of some of the items listed and I will work on getting these all sorted.

It was cool to see the personalized plates for the rigs these are really neat Jeeps and I did not even look at the tractors. “Restored and Owned by Herb and Betty Huddle”. Those are cool pieces reminds me of the personalized plates that you guys helped the grandkids find last month!

I will say there is a certain photo type most Auction houses use since the sites are just so photo intensive that our site does not support, so they have to be converted, its just a few clicks to convert but its time really, probably will take be a good solid hour to do most of that work and time can be hard to get that dedicated file convert process going. Gotta get locked in for that event. I did it with the large FC Auction, it works out in the end. I struggled with this post going on third attempt to get it all sorted, it’s information overload, some technical issues with the computer in general. But I feel I got it sorted out to a pretty basic layout for now and got my conversion from WEBP to JPG down yet to be seen at scale. No complaints just when folks don’t see posts it’s not because we are not working on posts.

1951 Willys Truck $2,500  Willisburg, KY

We need more details, this is almost ready for the Zombie Apocalypse but needs a few things like its missing that Passenger Grate and drivers headlight. Front bumper is straight, looks like they mounted something up there. Its stout for sure.

Its not a Driving Range rig, no dents on the side from those rotten kids, DON’T HIT THE BALLS AT THE TRUCK! Always had to wonder why drive in front of people with drivers in vehicles that are caged up if you did not want them to hit them at you. I digress.

Any other guesses what this was for?

I love the truck, it’s pretty crazy looking. Gotta be some pull tab cans in the tool boxes.

There are some serious parts on this one for the older rigs, those front hubs I always liked the look of those full time hubs. I would love to try a set of summer hubs on Willa Dean to see if that would help the L134 out a tad.

I need more pictures, two just does not cut it for this one.

1949 Jeep Willys Wagon $9,500 Hodgenville, KY

This is a Restomod, but looks like maybe an S10 swap, not sure actually says 355/350 Turbo.

Body looks solid, it is a little but of a Willys Salad, the round wheel wells do lead it to be earlier Wagon body but the front clip is newer then ’49.

But that one inside shot tells a lot:

  • Has the rectangle cutout in the center correct for a ‘49
  • The round holes up top where the headliner are older, they switched to oval ones pretty early on.
  • Push button doors.

The wheels look fairly centered in the wheel wells, I would need this to be a little lower for my taste if it’s a frame swap which with the tilt column and front sway bar, it pretty much looks like it is. Lower it a tad toss on some Torque Thrust wheels, body color the hood, get a more correct Willys bumper out front, update the seats to maybe some of those Tom’s Bronco Seats and just get in and go!
