“Selling my 1946 (maybe 1948) cj2a. Bought two years ago and replaced entire brake system. Was from Wisconsin used as a farm Jeep to go hunting with. I have a
New gas tank and gauges that haven’t been installed yet. This is no show piece but will be road/trail ready with minimal work needed. Solid frame and body. Starts and drives, carb needs adjustment though.”
Needs some work.

“What you are looking at is an original CJ3A 1950 Willys Jeep. The Jeep is very complete and the engine is not stuck. I removed the head and inspected the cylinders and valves and they looked great. Then i installed a new head gasket properly sequenced and torqued. I don’t think it would take much to get this Jeep back going. I’m selling this Jeep for someone that has a new house and decided he doesn’t have the time for it. ”
UPDATE: Still Available. I thought it had sold.
(02/02/2018) Jeep isn’t running a the moment. Seller says he is not sure why.

“For sale, Is an amazing 1954 Jeep Willy M170 Frontline Ambulance army jeep, these were also used for radio communication as well. This model is basically a stretched and beefed up version of the more common M38A1 model. Many of the parts are the same and can still be found. Around 4500 of these models were made. Many of them did not return from the Korean Theater. The ambulance version can be seen on the hit series M.A.S.H. This particular unit was stationed in Albany, GA. I’ve had the vehicle since 2006.
-This Jeep has clean title and registration.
-Vehicle did run and drive. I put an electronic ignition. Still have the original Distributer (as well as several NOS parts). Aside from electronic ign electrical system still 24vdc.
– This Jeep has around 18000 miles. Some body damage.
– Tires are 31″ Goodyear MTR. They still hold air.
Has original F-head hurricane motor. Aprox. whopping 75hp. Motor was designed to run underwater. (I wouldn’t recommend) Original fuel tank is missing.
Motor is coupled to the venerable borg warner T90 three speed synchro transmission.
Power is split via a Dana 18 twin stick transfer case. (No PTO). To the dana 25/27 front axle. To the Dana 44 rear axle.
Axles are held in place by reverse shackle multi leaf springs.
Unfortunately, I don’t have time to fool with it. So, now your chance to own a hard to find Army Jeep,”
