This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1962 M170 jeep based on the M38A1 (cj5) but stretched 20 inches. The M170 has better springs sway bars bigger fuel tank. There were less than 4500 produced from 1950 to early 1960s. they were used in Vietnam as front line ambulances, radio cars and 6 man troup carrier. ”

“1948 willys cj2a 4×4 colorado title with matching dash plate. Has all the original parts except the seats, parking brake cable, and muffler. Starter changed to 12 volt by ft. worth starter and generator with alternator added . Engine ran good when parked 3yrs ago. Will consider trades or OBO.”
