Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Eric spotted this one. It looks like it may have a rear PTO shaft. The jeep also has a WWII windshield that seems in good shape. The VIN of 71912 suggests it is a 1946.

“1960 willies jeep with 6 ft meyer plow for sale. L134 flathead engine. I bought this jeep 20 years ago to plow snow at my house in the winter. Pushes snow with ease. Got a pickup truck with a plow now so I didn’t even start it this year.”

This photo appeared in what I think was a 1979 issue of Jeep News (I couldn’t find an exact date). It’s a funky setup!
