Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: Listed as a 1958, John pointed out that ti’s got a 1951 gauge cluster. Maybe a delivery body on a later chassis?

Then i installed a new head gasket properly sequenced and torqued. I don’t think it would take much to get this Jeep back going.
