Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “The motor is a 1962 Chevy V-8 283. There are rust areas and the paint is faded. The drive train (other than the engine) is all stock and original. Three shifting levers: Lock in -Lock out, High-Low range, and three speed tranny with OD. Comes with an extra set of tires and rims and other Misc parts. It does have a tow-bar as well. Come have a look.
This Jeep has been in my Family for 40 years so I want to see her go to someone who is going to restore her-not trash her. ”

This ad promoting “8 reasons why the ‘Jeep’ does more jobs … better!” appeared in the March 15, 1956, issue of the Heppner Gazette Times in Heppner, Oregon. Interesting that it shows a dual pane windshield.

“1951 willys wagon. This wagon was restored in the early 2000s. Has some rat-rod embellishments, like the turn signals. Mustang “cleveland” engine and automatic transmission, edelbrock carb,air shocks. Not perfect, not completely restored but closer than most.”
